EXPERT SYSTEMS / KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING

I have conducted knowledge elicitation interviews in various domains in order to extract from recognised 'experts' the reasoning and logic that they use in order to solve complex problems. I have then analysed the interview data and reconstructed the experts reasoning process in diagramatic form and fed this back to the 'experts' in order for them to further clarify the reasoning. Once validation of the paper process is agreed then the Expert System can be created using either a 'Shell' or a programming language with linked database. I've constructed many of these principally using VB.net and Access database. One received an Innovation award from Microsoft (1997). View examples of some of these'Expert Systems' below.

I have Degrees in Psychology and Masters Degrees in Ergonomics and Information Systems Management.
